20% Tied To Ground

Approximately 20% of all pin header connectors on the phyCORE® are tied to Ground. This addresses the results of independent research indicating that approximately 70% of all EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) problems stem from insufficient supply voltage grounding of electronic components in high noise environments.

The phyCORE's increased pin package and multi-layer design allows insertion of this Single Board Computer into complex applications with exacting EMI and EMC requirements. This renders the phyCORE a universal insert-ready microcontroller core that can be inserted into an even wider spectrum of user target hardware environments, including high noise environments.
